Completed the Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD) Graded Syllabus Examinations as well as for the higher levels in the Vocational Graded Examinations. Simultaneously, also furthered ballet training with Imperial Society Teachers Dancing (ISTD) syllabus. Successfully scored 80% Distinctions for all her Ballet Examinations. Besides, studied and continued other dance styles such as Hip Hop, Jazz Dance, Tap Dance, Modern Line Dance and Belly Dance.
Successfully awarded the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS, RAD) in 2006. She is now a registered teacher of RAD with title ARAD and appointed teaching mentor with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). Jasmine has a solid 20 over years of teaching experience.
From 1999-2005, she won champion for numerous competitions and was active in participating dance festivals, stage shows, concerts, dance workshops and performances. One of her highlighted moment during her time as a performer was being selected in an audition to perform in the 'Les Sylphide' by the Kuala Lumpur Dance Theatre which was formed by the late Mrs. Lee Lee Lan.
In 2003, she was awarded a full scholarship to attend Cecchetti International Summer Ballet School at Ormond College, University of Melbourne, Australia. In 2006, she was awarded another full scholarship to spend a week dancing with the professional and principal dancers of Singapore Dance Theatre at Fort Canning Green, Singapore.
Besides these achievements, she also obtained 100% for both her RAD Grade 7 and Grade 8 ballet examinations.
She then founded Danceology Ballet Academy in 2010 where she began her career as a full time Ballet instructor. Along with the academy's establishment, her hard work has seen featuring in newspapers, television production, event roadshows, event stage shows and Successful People in Malaysia (by Britishpedia).
Jasmine is now dedicated to ensuring her students are given opportunities to perform and pursue a dance career. She has spent her time and energy producing annual recitals for Danceology Ballet Academy. She has also coached dancers for local and international competitions.
She aims to develop each dancer in the area of strong sense of discipline, posture, musicality, artistic appreciation, determination to meet new challenges, self-motivation and self-esteem.
